05 Jul These 3 Products Are Fire
Simply put, here are three products I can’t live without at the moment. They’re fire.
1. Worker B Cream
Before discovering Worker B Cream ($22) my lips would get so dry they would split open in my sleep. It’s not super cute to look like you just got into a street fight and it’s also not great having to remove blood stains from your silk pillowcases every morning. Ever since I started using this super thick, nourishing balm I haven’t split my lip once. It’s seriously a godsend! Simply formulated with olive oil and beeswax, it can technically be used on any part of your body (and according to their website it can also soothe your pet’s paws too). Right now, I use it solely on my lips. But my dog’s paws are looking a little dry. As are my elbows. So I think this product’s reach will be expanding shortly.
2. Colleen Rothschild Extreme Recovery Cream
This super hydrating Extreme Recovery Cream from Colleen Rothschild ($75) is packed full of hyaluronic acid and peptides to help protect and strengthen skin’s hydro-lipid barrier while fighting wrinkles and fine lines. Eight words on our hydro-lipid barrier: Our skin depends on it to retain water. Annnnywho, this cream is super thick and dreamy. It absorbs beautifully and leaves skin completely restored. It’s perfection.
Full disclosure: If you have sensitive skin this might not be the cream for you because it contains lavender which can be an irritant for some. Smells lovely, though.
3. Skin Authority Super-C Serum
Fun fact: Did you know that sunscreen only blocks 55% of the damaging free radicals generated by UV rays? Incorporating a powerful free radical-fighting antioxidant like vitamin c into your regimen makes up the difference to ensure your skin is much closer to being 100% protected. Skin Authority’s Super-C Serum ($99) is an absolute necessity in my book. It’s formulated with 20% ascorbic acid (vitamin c) making it super potent. I love this particular formula because it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tacky. Even if you’re completely minimal when it comes to your daily skin care routine (not sure why you’re reading this, but hello!) you should be using sunscreen and antioxidants religiously. Vitamin c tones and tightens skin while working to erase red spots. It also goes a long way in the fight against fine lines and wrinkles. Do yourself a favor and put some vitamin c on your face, like yesterday.
I will leave you with this. Press play. You won’t regret it.
